The National Music Publishers' Association has sued the popular gaming platform Roblox for copyright infringement on behalf of several music publishers in a lawsuit seeking $200 million in damages.

Brookhaven is a popular role-playing game in Roblox where players can create and customize their avatars to interact with other gamers in a virtual city.

Roblox said it is "surprised and disappointed" by a lawsuit filed on behalf of NMPA members seeking at least $200 million in damages.
