Microsoft has released the July 2024 preview update for Windows 10, version 22H2, with fixes for Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) issues causing app crashes and system memory exhaustion.
Defender will continue to provide security even for unsupported Windows 10 PCs. But Microsoft still wants you to move to Windows 11.
Windows 10 life support ends Oct. 14, when Microsoft stops providing free free security updates, bug fixes, or technical support for the operating system.
