The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium welcomed a new reticulated python this week with a link to the record-setting Fluffy.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Experts at the St. Louis Zoo are trying to figure out how a 62-year-old ball python laid seven eggs despite not being near a male python for at least two decades.

The Woodland Park Zoo is asking the public to help name its new reticulated python. It’s an 8-year-old male that weighs 100 pounds.
