Jonathan India and Adam Frazier hit two-run homers, rallying the Kansas City Royals to a 6-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday for a series sweep.

Rave belted his fourth career homer off White Sox starter Sean Burke in the third inning. He saw two curveballs before connecting on a 93.9 mph fastball. It was his first home run at Kauffman Stadium. He has hit safely in his last five games with an at-bat.

John Rave homered playing in place of the ailing Vinnie Pasquantino and the Kansas City Royals beat Chicago White Sox 6-2 on Saturday night to move above .500 for the first time since June 10. Pasquantino left after the first inning because of heat-related illness.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The White Sox’ second-half surge has given way to a late-summer drought. Their bats were mostly quiet again Saturday as the Royals knocked around starter Sean Burke in their 6-2 victory over the Sox. The loss was the Sox’ 10th in 12 games, and it extended their current skid to three.

The Royals must contend with the Texas Rangers on Monday night. It's the start of a four-game series that will have playoff implications. The Royals swept the Rangers in June and need one more victory to secure the regular-season tiebreaker.
