The Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves are tied at 1-1 in their second-round NBA playoff series after Minnesota took Game 2, 117-93, on Thursday night. Game 3 is set for Saturday in San Francisco.

Minnesota’s front office, led by David Kahn, had the fifth and sixth picks in the 2009 NBA Draft. They selected two point guards, Jonny Flynn and Ricky Rubio, instead of Curry, leaving the soon-to-be generational superstar for the Warriors at the seventh selection.

This series nearly became the Warriors without Stephen Curry against the Timberwolves without Anthony Edwards.
