Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders was expected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, he ended up not being selected until Day 3 when the Cleveland Browns took him at No. 144 overall, which came in the fifth round.

The fan, only identified as “John Doe,” filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Northern District of Georgia federal court on May 1.
