米政権のファクトシートによると、大統領令では「ＡＩ教育に関するホワイトハウス作業部会」を設置し、その座長に米大統領府科学技術政策局（ＯＳＴＰ）のマイケル・クラツィオス局長が就くことが明記された。

ソフトバンクグループの孫正義会長兼社長は4月30日、ホワイトハウスで開かれたトランプ政権下の企業投資の実績を示す会合に参加した。表明済みの人工知能（AI）分野への5千億ドル（約71兆円）投資に関し「米国のインフラ投資として過去最大規模だ」と強調した。
