本作はその名の通り、スパイクチュンソフトのローグライク『不思議のダンジョン』から影響を受けているダンジョン探索型RPGです。登場する敵NPCやアイテムは『東方Project』の設定に準拠しつつも『不思議のダンジョン』っぽい効果のものが多く、手厚いチュートリアルと数十ページにも及ぶ人物図鑑のおかげで、片方だけ知っているプレイヤーや、両方とも知らない新規でも遊びやすい仕様となっています。
