Israel has told people to evacuate Sanaa International Airport in Yemen's capital, a day after it struck targets in the neighbouring city of Hodeidah. An Israeli military spokesman warned: "failure to evacuate and stay away from the area puts you in danger.

Israel struck targets in Yemen on Monday night, the Israeli military said, one day after the Iranian backed Houthis fired a ballistic missile that hit Israel’s main airport.

Israel’s military says it has carried out airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen’s Red Sea province of Hodeida.
