Ocean City, Maryland, hosted the 52nd annual White Marlin Open from August 4 to 8, 2025, drawing 318 boats and awarding more than $10.5 million in total prize money, marking one of the largest purses in the tournament’s history.

The tournament was extended two days to a full week, and some days hundreds of anglers hit the water while on other days only a handful of the 282 registered boats went fishing.

The White Marlin Open has once again reeled in thousands of anglers, spectators and celebrities. Along with them came an expected wave of economic activity for Ocean City.
