The Trump administration cancelled 2025 funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and proposed eliminating funding in its next fiscal budget.

The state auditor position is currently held by Democrat, Rob Sand. But he's expected to launch a gubernatorial bid, leaving an open seat in 2026.
