Tijjani Reijnders revealed it was a dream come true to score and assist on his City Premier League debut in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Wolves.

Manchester City began the 2025–26 campaign with a routine 4–0 victory away to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

It was also a performance that Jamie Redknapp did not predict pre-match. Speaking on Sky Sports’ match coverage immediately before kick off, Redknapp was asked whether he thought Manchester City would compete with Liverpool and Arsenal for the Premier League title this season.
