The Gateway Pundit, an opinion website founded in 2004 to “expose the wickedness of the left,” has developed a reputation for promoting conspiracy theories, misinformation and content particularly in support of President Donald Trump. Fact-checking organizations, including PolitiFact and Snopes, have debunked several of its stories.

Court documents unsealed in 2024 include the names of Clinton, his Vice President Al Gore, Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, the Democratic Gov. of New Mexico Bill Richardson, British royal Prince Andrew, actor Kevin Spacey and late pop icon Michael Jackson, and, of course, Trump.
