In Budapest, Rubik’s Cube inventor Erno Rubik and chess grandmaster Judit Polgar launched the world’s first RubikChess tournament. The hybrid game pairs students in teams of two: one plays blitz chess, the other solves a Rubik’s Cube during surprise breaks. The faster the solver, the more time their partner gains on the chessboard.
